Grilled Peaches With Jalapeño Whipped Cream

School is back in session, summer is drawing to a close, and grilling season is almost over, but before you shut down your backyard barbecues, you're going to want to try this whipped cream recipe that Inspirations' Head Chef Dakota Willson came up with. We love it best with peaches, but at our Grillin' & Chillin' event back in July, we wanted to put it on everything!

If you're nervous that Jalapeño White Balsamic might be too spicy for you, don't worry! It actually features the flavor of the pepper more than the heat. You can make this whipped cream without the diced jalapeño as well, or try a different flavor of balsamic, like Sicilian Lemon or Honey Ginger. This recipe is so simple, and it's a fantastic new twist on the best dessert topping of all time! One taste and your whole family will want to make it every day.

Ingredients:

4 peaches, halved
8 oz. whipped cream
1 fresh jalapeño, finely diced
6 Tbsp. Jalapeño White Balsamic Vinegar
Peach White Balsamic Vinegar, to taste
Fresh mint leaves

Preparation:

  1. Combine whipped cream, diced jalapeño, and Jalapeño White Balsamic Vinegar.
  2. Brush peach halves with Peach White Balsamic Vinegar (or another flavor of your choice) and place face down on a grill or grill pan for 3-5 minutes, or until fruit is tender and has good grill marks.
  3. Garnish each peach half with a dollop of whipped cream and a chiffonade of fresh mint leaves.
