Summer Berry & Balsamic Peppered Iced Tea

Ingredients:
1 c. blueberries, de-stemmed (you can use frozen)
½ c. water
¼ c. maple syrup
2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar (Blackberry GingerDark ChocolateEspressoPomegranateRaspberry, or Strawberry)
Freshly cracked black pepper
8 c. water
4 tsp. black tea (ParisVanilla, or Vanilla Decaf)

Preparation:

1. Add berries, water, and maple syrup to a small pot. Bring to a simmer, add balsamic vinegar and pepper to taste.
2. Simmer until berries release their juices and the mixture has thickened slightly, then remove from heat.
3. Meanwhile, add 8 cups of water to another pot and heat until nearly simmering. Remove from heat and add tea in a sieve or tea basket. steep 5-6 minutes. 
4. Strain berry mixture through the sieve into the tea. Pour into a large pitcher and chill in the fridge. Serve cold!
